Our journey started in 2021 when my husband, John, and I, Heather Chianis, decided to turn our love for backyard smoking into something bigger. Originally from Houston, Texas, we moved to Vero Beach after having our first child, looking for a slower pace of life. This town felt like the perfect place to share the BBQ traditions we grew up with.
We had no restaurant experience, but we had a passion for great BBQ. After years of perfecting our craft in the backyard, we opened our doors in April 2022. It wasn't easy, but every challenge taught us something new. From designing the space to building our menu, everything has been a labor of love. Our goal has always been to treat everyone who walks in like family and serve BBQ we're proud of.
